National Match Shooting at Tonto Rim Sportsmans Club, Payson,  AZ

View from the firing line, 200 yds just in front of the trees.
At the Tonto Rim Gun Club in Payson AZ, 3 miles south  of town,
They shoot a 50 shot National Match Course of fire reduced-range, 200 yard, 12 firing points.
There is a 6-minute sighting period prior to shooting. There is no pit service, shooters walk to the targets between stages.
 

Competition on the First Sunday of every month.
They start at 9:00 AM, so be there a little early. Expect to shoot until around lunch time.
$12 fee for non-members, $10 for Tonto Rim Gun Club members. (membership, $25/yr)
Matches are NRA registered,

The range is located, just east of highway 87, 3 miles south of Payson. Coming from Phoenix area on 87, watch for the Ox Bow estates development entrance on the left, the entrance to the range is on the right (east). If you get to Round Valley development, you've gone too far. The range is about 1.5 miles east on a dirt road.

The club also shoots cowboy on the 3rd sunday and has occasional vintage matches in the summer.
